This past weekend has been the most snow I've ever seen in my life. For me, this experience has been the equivalent of a man on the moon. I just found out that white snow is everything that I hoped and dreamed it would be. While I was out and about, discovering Chicago's new landscape, I went ahead and caught some of my favorite winter wonderland moments on camera. "Cocaine-face" Russell is one of them. Russell is the dog.... ENJOY! :)

Last week, I went to St. Louis with my sister and bro-in-law. It was possibly the best/cheapest day trip I've ever ventured.

We first stopped by the Budweiser Brewery to start off our mini-vacation right. I highly recommend it for anyone who is over 21. It is a very clean and beautifully decorated. Best of all, it was free. Everything was free. Free tickets for the tour, and two free "samples" of beer. I say "samples" because it was a pretty generous amount. However, St. Louis won me over on a different attraction. I don't want to give away too much about this one particular place, because part of the magic is going there yourself and making discoveries, but City Museum is perhaps the most wonderful place in the world.

Of course, I had to visit the Arch, which only made me think of and miss Athens. But I think the coolest part about the Arch were the pods! And it definitely helped that I got to sit next to this gorgeous guy in that tiny capsule. I wanted to take pictures of him, but decided it was definitely creepy :D 

And some of the pictures in here are of Chicago when I got back but thought it was worth sharing.
